For one of the most successful smartphone manufacturers on the market, it must be infinitely frustrating to know that Blackberrys are selling more and more, but Apple’s iPhone still has that indefinable something that keeps consumers drooling and panting over the chic little handset. Though RIM has a good strong hold on the business realm, there are 3 really simple ways that it can maintain control of corporate clients and also gain that sex appeal the iPhone flaunts like Britney Spears on her first album.

The MacBook Air is not a great laptop in its current version; future versions of the MacBook Air may be better. The current MacBook Air lacks processing power, serious graphics, optical drive, connectivity options and so on and so forth but this has been mentioned time and time again by sites over the whole Internet. But, what about future versions of the MacBook Air?

I’ve seen some sales fudging in my day but this one has got to take the cake. Dell, Lenovo and others are going to offer XP past the "expiration date" but Microsoft is still going to be counting those sales as Vista sales. Oh yes, it gets even better.

Having used several iterations of Windows which goes all the way back to a limited understand of Windows 3.1 but I didn’t really start using it until Windows 95, I’ve been around the block. There is lots of freeware out there and sure we have a list of 30 freeware applications on this very site which presents you with several options if you want that but maybe you don’t, maybe you want to know what’s the very best.

Recently when I logged into Apple developer website, I noticed that Apple had released Aperture 2.1 SDK. This past March Aperture 1.5 was upgraded to Aperture 2. The upgrades for Aperture 2 were impressive. As an Aperture user I was extremely impressed with the upgrades. Apple also lowered its price.

We all knew this day was coming as many users have become fed up with Internet Explorer; it’s slow, it’s features are outdated and it used to be full of security holes like swiss cheese but as hackers switch focus that may no longer be the case. Safari and Firefox have gained a lot more traction and are becoming the focus of more attacks, more often.

In what can only be described as a complete 180 degree turn, Metallica has now said that it wants to share and distribute digital copies of its music. The heavy metal band has been against distributing its music in such a form but has now reached out with an olive branch to its fans and says fans can, "expect everything in terms of possibilities with the Internet."

All anti-virus vedors release faulty updates at one point or another but Microsoft takes the cake. An update it released for its Windows Live OneCare antivirus suite mistakenly identified the popular VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) software Skype as a trojan.
