Firefox is one of the very best browsers on the market, far better than IE (and faster), it has more configuration options than Opera and a host of add-ons make it a breeze to configure to your personal preferences. You have to start somewhere so why not start with these 5 add-ons? Add-ons are not listed in any particular order.

Students across the nation have become the hapless targets of the RIAA’s campaign against piracy; many of those students are completely ill-prepared to defend the allegations being brought against them, financially and otherwise. For two students at the University of Maine, the student advocates in the school’s law program have taken up the case to fight the RIAA’s lawsuit.

Vista-bashing, like bullying the resident class geek, is too easy. But an OS’s failure to live up to its hype does not spell the death of the venerable desktop PC. It just means the OS needs work.

Last time I reviewed the SZ640 based on its hardware alone, if you didn’t read that, do so now and then come back here. Of course, that review pretty much covered the entire SZ line of computers because the build is standard among all models. Now it’s time to evaluate the SZ640 strictly from a performance standpoint.

Uniden, known for being makers of high end radar detectors for many years, has entered the GPS navigation system game. Upping the ante on all of the other GPS and radar detectors out there, they are releasing the very first GPS and Radar detector combo in 2008. They haven’t released the details of its features yet, but the combination looks promising.

That’s right, Apple will be releasing updated firmware for the iPhone very soon and there are a few surprises in store. In all likelihood, the iPod Touch will receive new firmware shortly after the iPhone is updated.
