The weekend activation numbers for Apple’s recent European iPhone launch are finally in. Sadly, at least for Apple, the reported numbers are (un)surprisingly low.

Guitar Hero III sold a whopping 1.4 million copies across all formats in the six days following its October 28th release.
Halo 3 may be sitting at the top of the all formats chart in America, but Guitar Hero III beat it hands down when you add up all the various incarnations over various formats.

While we’re all sitting around waiting for Mac World to get going in January where it is rumored that Apple will officially announce an ultra portable Mac that’s thinner and lighter than the company’s current offerings, dare I say that the ultra portable Mac has already arrived in the form of the Asus EeePC.

Mac OS X Leopard users rejoice! 10.5.1 is here with fixes for what ails ya!
As with any operating system release, there are always going to be some bugs, and Apple has quickly moved to get a “.1″ release out to fix some of them. The download clocks in at 110MB, but from reports, it’s well worth it.

Whitehaven, a small town in Cumbria, UK, has become the first British town to go completely digital, and have their analogue signal switched off. After stage one on October 17th, 2,500 homes woke up yesterday morning to find they could only watch their favourite television programmes through a digital set top box.

Theft is nothing new in the world, but who would have suspected that it could come to the virtual world?
It seems that a 17-year-old resident of the Netherlands has been arrested for stealing €4,000 ($5,859 USD) worth of virtual furniture from other users on Habbo Hotel.
