Windows XP users have to bite the bullet of yet another unpatched flaw present in Windows XP and Server 2003 with Internet Explorer 7 installed.

Microsoft just can’t seem to keep those darned updates from installing without administrator approval, in the latest occurrence, some Windows Server 2003 machines received and installed an update for Windows Desktop Search.

Since Microsoft missed the back to school and holiday season last year, it is hoping those two events have driven up Vista sales, this year as it would mark the first year that Vista was available during back to school and will be available for the holidays.

T-Mobile, a leading cell phone service provider to the U.S, has recently instituted a unique new optional feature for customers known as "T-Mobile HotSpot@Home," which allows users to seamlessly make phone calls over their WiFi without using their minutes for $20 a month.

Video games are blamed for a lot of things these days, and are often cited as the cause of school shootings, violence, and crime, so it's nice to be able to report for once on something positive a game is doing for society.

Only a true geek would go walking and think "Look at all this energy I'm wasting". Maybe it's because they stereotypically have less energy to spend before shortness of breath sets in. Whatever the inspiration, a new product in development by CSIRO (Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) could harness that energy to mean you never run out of batteries again.

On Comcast's front web page, they have the Top Five Questions Customers Ask but strangely none of them include: Are you going to filter out my content? The answer is probably yes. People who sign-up for broadband access most likely never ask that question.
