Think Secret is reporting that rumors are abounding in regards to the 6th generation iPods are not only close to release, but not all that different from the current generation.

It is clear at this point that Apple's iPhone has truly paved the way towards a new era in smartphone technology, but is the iPhone's potential relatively untapped? Could ultra-portable computing solutions make desktops and even laptops obsolete?

The Medison Celebrity laptop was supposed to be a low cost Linux alternative to mainstream laptops and with only a $150 price tag, how could things go wrong. Things have gone wrong and Medison will supposedly be giving returning that preorder money to customers if it can't ship the laptop within three months.

With the release of the iPhone, Apple may well be moving away from the desktop market to more handheld based solutions, a case in point is the iPhone. The iPhone runs a mobile version of Mac OSX which could pave the way for future devices, like Apple based PDAs, Newton, anyone?

Intel is on the defensive after a preliminary finding by the European Commission found that the company is engaging in anti competitive behavior. Intel's senior counsel has responded to the finding by saying that the company's actions in Europe actually benefit consumers.

Now that Microsoft has finally set a date for Windows 7 in 2010, and since Windows XP is proving to be more stable than Vista, it seems to make more sense to avoid Vista altogether, keep Windows XP, and just wait until Windows 7.

While the retail giant will continue to sell discs of both formats, Target stores will promote and sell only Blu-ray players during the critical '07 holiday season.
Target stores will promote the $499 Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray player along with several Blu-ray discs at "end caps" across the nation, according to Associated Press.
